This vibrant rainbow colored abstract causes the viewer to give it a "second glance" - Is it a flower, or a butterfly, or . . . . . ??? It is approximately 20 x 24 and was painted using multiple layers of transparent acrylic on a treated piece of hard board.
About Joan Clear
I began my career as a painter, exhibiting and selling my paintings in Chicago before relocating to Florida in 1996. As an active member of the DuPage, Downers Grove, and Lisle Art Leagues in Chicago�s western suburbs I exhibited my artwork in many prestigious Chicago-land venues including the Art Institute�s Sales and Rental Gallery, the Oak Brook Fine Arts Promenade, and the Gold Coast Art Show, just to name a few.� Many of my paintings hang in permanent collections both here and abroad.� Since moving to Florida I continue to participate in juried and invitational shows but have recently expanded my interests to include fusing glass, creating unique kiln-formed art glass pieces, "suncatchers/garden art" and one of a kind...
